All of our books are second hand, whether the book is donated or purchased second hand we carefully inspect and grade each book so you know what condition it's in before purchasing
How is Bokvinden Sustainable?
At Bokvinden, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. By giving pre-loved books a new home, we help extend their life, reduce waste, and make reading more accessible for everyone. We aim to be a carbon neutral company. Our packaging bags are made of recycled materials. Our business and thank you cards are all made from recycled paper. Our bookmarks are made from bamboo. We continue each day to strive to be as sustainable as possible.
How do we grade our books?
We use a simple grading system for our books:
- Som Ny (Like New) - books in this grade have hardly any signs of use.
- Fint-Skick (Good Condition) - books in this grade show some signs of use.
- Välanvänd (Well Used) - books in this grade have clearly been read a few times but still readable
Why do books have different prices?
The prices of our books are determined by the grade we give them which is based on the condition of our book. Books that have been well used cost less while books in better condition cost slightly more. We always aim to keep prices as low as possible.
